**** Introduction ****
Well due to a new working schedule, I was unable to put together a
fully
fresh issue this week. But, hopefully by next week I will be used
to my new
work schedule and next week's edition will be brand new. Some information
has been repeated for those who did not receive last week's publication.
**** Recap of August 25th ****
The Freedom Riders of Philadelphia would like to thank Mother Nature
for the
nice break in the heat wave. The 80-degree weather made for a nice
ride
through the park. We had our share of problems (un-trued tire, popped
chain), but we moved on quickly and enjoyed all the park had to offer.
We'd like to thank our special gust rider, Garry Fishbein,
who traveled all
the way up from Bala Cynwyd. We hope he enjoyed our "tour"
of Pennypack
Park, and we look forward to him joining our ride again soon.

I will meet everyone in the shopping center across
the lot from Rita's
(under cover) but if it does begin to rain, we will just disburse
and cancel
this week's trip.
**** The Progression Of The Freedom Riders Of Philadelphia

If anyone has a ride here in the Northeast that they'd like to lead
under
the FRP name, please email us about it. Of course since we are a subdivision
of the BCP, we ask that it be listed in the Quick Release.
We are still establishing our mailing list. So if
you'd like to be put on
the permanent mailing list, please email us and let us know. All other
emails will eventually be filtered out of our list due to function
ability.
If you are receiving this newsletter and it is addressed to you, personally,
that means you are still on our temporary list. If you have any suggestions
and/or comments, please email them to us and full credit will be given.
A new section of the website is in production! We
are going to start
archiving The Philadelphia Gazette. We are building Volume one of
The
Philadelphia Gazette and are hoping for the first five (5) issues
up soon.

632-9269. If you are planning on joining The FRP trip this week please
contact FishBone so he has an idea of how many people to wait for.

Well that's about all for this week. If anything shall come up concerning
the ride, we will send out news as soon as we get it. We hope to see
